Heather and Erik's North Fork Engagement Session

Erik and Heather met while Heather was bar tending back in July of 2013.  He started talking to her and one thing led to another and he asked her for her number.  When you meet Heather you can see why Erik was quickly draw to her charisma (you'll meet her though my images of course).  Heather knew on her first date that Erik was the one.  On New Year's Eve 2016, or should I say on New Years day, right after the ball dropped he got down on one knee and popped the big question in front of all their friends and family.  What a fantastic way to ring in the new year, don't you think?

Since, they loved the water we decided to shoot at 67 steps on the North Fork, Long Island, NY on April 15th, 2017.  It was a little chilly and windy but it created such beautiful blues with the landscape colors.  I am a bit silly, so I tried to get them to laugh the most that they could and it's a bonus that they both have gorgeous smiles.  It was one of those sessions where you leave feeling good...laughter is so good for the soul.  I'm feeling so blessed to know them and be able to spend this time with them too.  I can't wait to capture their special day in 3 months.  I hope you enjoy this slide show of some of the images captured.  xxx

Lucretia and Francesco's Wedding

"The story of Francesco and I is emotional and precious.  I grew up very Italian, my father being born in Spinazzola, Italy. I was extremely close to my grandparents, my father’s parents. They were from Spinazzola, Italy, and I thrived on hearing all about our roots there and also about the family that still existed there.  I went to Italy to celebrate my uncle’s 90th birthday and formed close relationships with my cousins who lived in Spinazzola. I joined a group there and it was wonderful because I could keep in touch over the internet with all of my relatives and new friends from Spinazzola. Francesco was one of the group members and we grew to know each other through this group. Francesco said the second he saw my photo he knew I was his half. We began going back and forth across the ocean to spend time together. We fell in love almost immediately! We have been together ever since.

But there were many signs, we feel from God, that we were supposed to be together. Francesco had a heart attack on November 22, 2008 before I knew him. Later well after we knew each other, we put 2 and 2 together and realized that my “saint day”, for St. Lucretia is November 22. Francesco and I believe that he was sent back here for us. He is the kindest most gentle man I have ever known. I needed his love.

There are a few more signs from God that we feel that we were destined for one another."

On December 11th, 2016 Lucretia and Francesco had a small, beautiful ceremony in their gorgeous home.  The ceremony began at 4 pm, surrounded by about 40 close friends and family members.  There was a harp player for the ceremony.  Her home was decorated beautifully for Christmas, with her tree, flowers and candles.   Francesco is very traditional and didn’t want to see Lucretia prior to getting marrying.   Lucretia was escorted in and given away by her father.  The ceremony itself was beautiful and elegant.

I was so blessed to be able to capture some images of their special day.  I hope you enjoy this slide show of some of the images captured....thank you for letting me be a part of this special moment.  xxx

 LaMaina's Family Session

Brrr!!  It was a cold, windy winter evening about half hour before the sun was completely gone!  So we braved the cold, did a lot of running and some jumping.  This family is so beautiful and their generosity extends throughout the community.  They are both successful business owners in North Fork, Long Island, NY.  If you walk into their businesses you will feel the love and community that they have created with their work families too.  This speaks volumes about them.   I had a lot of fun getting go know them and watching them play with their kids.  I really hope that they can look at these images and remember how little their boys are, how their skin felt, the warmth of their hugs, and the sounds of their laughter.  Thank you so much for letting me capture you.  I hope you enjoy the slide show of some of the images...xxx

Emelys's Senior Sesssion | Greenport High School

Emelys is an artist, musician and absolutely enjoys running!  She has a heart of gold and wants to study law and help people.  She was full of bubbly energy and up for anything.  We took her images in the woods, as she finds this environment beautiful and peaceful.  The fall leaves created the perfect backdrop.  She is a driven girl who will go places and accomplish things while helping people.  I think that she has a beautiful dream and I can't wait for her to start living it!!

I hope you enjoy this video of your session....thank you for letting me capture you.  xxx

Theresa and Steve's Engagement Session | Port Jefferson, NY

Steve and Theresa met 4 years ago this coming April 14th in a country bar called Codys in dowtown Riverhead. There was an instant connection between them and since that very memoriable night they have literally been together everyday since.

They got engaged on Dec 20th 2016.  Steve took his mom, Theresa's mom and  Theresa out for lunch in the Hamptons, NY at a favorite spot right on the water and afterwards he walked Theresa down the boardwalk over looking the water and proposed in front of their mom's.  How sweet and perfect does that sound!!!  She said, "It was the most beautiful day of my life!"

We ended up shooting down town Port Jefferson by the ferry, where the scenery and the little beach was both busy and beautiful.  It was a bit overcast and ended up drizzling at the end.  We had a lot of fun, lots of laughter ad cuteness!  Take a look and see for yourself....I hope you enjoy seeing their session....

Congrats again and thank you Steve and Theresa for letting me a part of this and capture the connection between you both! XXX
